far as it shall apply to the operation in Anne Arundel County
of other than moving picture shows, and repealing Sections
288, 289, 296, 299 and 300 of Article 27 of the Code of Public
General Laws in so far as they shall apply to licenses issued
by the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County under
authority of Sections 377A, 377AB and 377AC of Article 2
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, and repealing
Section 8A of Article 81 of the Code of Public General Laws
as enacted by Chapter 791 of the Acts of 1941 in so far as it
shall apply to any license issued by the County Commission-
ers of Anne Arundel County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That two new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Licenses",
said new sections to be known as Sections 377AB and 377AC,
and to follow immediately after Section 377A of said Article
as enacted by Chapter 321 of the Acts of 1941, and to read as
follows:

377AB. The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County when exercising the powers vested in them to issue li-
censes as authorized by Section 377A of Article 2 as enacted
by Chapter 321 of the Acts of 1941, shall be and hereby are au-
thorized and empowered to designate the kinds and types of
carnivals, circuses, shows, amusement rides, and amusement
devices which may be operated in Anne Arundel County, and
make regulations for the operation thereof in Anne Arundel
County under the said licenses, and may designate kinds and
types of carnivals, circuses, shows, amusement rides, and
amusement devices which may not be operated in Anne Arun-
del County, as detrimental to the health, morals and safety of
the people and property of Anne Arundel County.

377AC. The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County are hereby authorized and empowered to permit the is-
suance of any prize or award in the operation of any such car-
nival, circus, show, amusement ride, or amusement device li-
censed under authority of Sections 377A and 377 AB, as an
award or prize for skill or score attained.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 103 to 109
inclusive of Article 56 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland (1939 Edition), be and they hereby are repealed
in so far as they shall apply to Anne Arundel County, and Sec-
tion 263 of Article 56 be and the same hereby is repealed in so
