CHAPTER 227.
(House Bill 216)
AN ACT to repeal Section 1 of Chapter 491 of the Laws of
Maryland of 1931, and Section 870A of Chapter 173 of the
Laws of Maryland of 1939, and Section 2 of Chapter 491 of
the Laws of Maryland of 1931, and Chapter 246 of the Laws
of Maryland of 1941, and Section 2 of Chapter 173 of the
Laws of Maryland of 1939, and Section 3 Chapter 537 of the
Laws of Maryland of 1922, and Sections 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9 of
Chapter 537 of the Laws of Maryland of 1922, and Section 6
of Chapter 491 of the Laws of Maryland of 1931, as codified
in the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County
(1939 Edition) as Sections 997 to 1009 inclusive, as amended.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1 of Chapter 491 of the Laws of Maryland of
1931, and Section 870A of Chapter 173 of the Laws of Mary-
land of 1939, and Section 2 of Chapter 491 of the Laws of Mary-
land of 1931, and Chapter 246 of the Laws of Maryland of 1941,
and Section 2 of Chapter 173 of the Laws of Maryland of 1939,
and Section 3 of Chapter 537 of the Laws of Maryland of 1922,
and Sections 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9 of Chapter 537 of the Laws of
Maryland of 1922, and Section 6 of Chapter 491 of the Laws of
Maryland of 1931, as codified in the Code of Public Local Laws
of Montgomery County (1939 Edition) as Sections 997 to 1009
inclusive, as amended, be, and they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 228.
(House Bill 15)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 8
of Article 22 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edi-
tion), title "Post Mortem Examiners", to eliminate the pro-
vision exempting Cecil County from the provisions of said
Article.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 8 of Article 22 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Post Mortem Examiners", be
