SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take

CHAPTER 217.
(House Bill 228)

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Allegany
County to invest the proceeds from the sale of bonds author-
ized by Chapter 416 of the Acts of 1941 and any interest there-
from in bonds or other obligations of the United States of
America and providing for the redemption or sale of such se-
curities and the disposal of the proceeds therefrom, and to
authorize the County Board of Education to use any or all
of the proceeds for matching Federal funds in the construc-
tion of the school buildings authorized to be erected under
the provisions of Chapter 416 of the Acts of 1941.

WHEREAS, Chapter 416 of the Acts of 1941 authorized the
County Commissioners of Allegany County to sell bonds to the
amount of Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800, 000. ) for the
payment of the proceeds of said bonds to the Allegany County
Board of Education for the acquisition of sites and the erection
of certain school buildings in Allegany County; and
