ber of the Commission. For such services the said Park Com-
missioner shall be paid the salary of Thirty-six Hundred Dol-
lars per year, payable monthly, and said salary shall be in
addition to the salary received by said Park Commissioner as
Commissioner. Said Park Commissioner shall be furnished
transportation, and the additional salary of $3, 600, as well as
the transportation costs for said Park Commissioner, shall be
paid out of the proceeds of the seven cent park tax of Mont-
gomery County. The Commission may appoint, discharge at
pleasure, and fix the compensation of or may contract for the
services of such engineering, planning, administrative, audit-
ing, clerical or other force, as, from time to time in its judg-
ment, may be necessary to the administration of this Act, and
may require any employee to give bond with surety approved
by, and in the sum to be fixed by the Commission.

The members of the Commission who are in office on the
effective date of this Act shall hold office until their succes-
sors shall have been appointed and qualified. The Governor
may remove any member of the Commission appointed under
the provisions of this Act, upon conviction of malfeasance
or misfeasance in office. Upon the removal of any member
of the Commission as herein provided, the vacancy thus oc-
curring shall be filled by the Governor for the remainder of
the term.

III. The Commission is hereby authorized to maintain an
office in Montgomery County, and an office in Prince George's
County, both such offices to be within the District, and an office
in the District of Columbia. The Commission is hereby author-
ized to hold meetings, conduct hearings, and perform any or all
of the duties vested in it by this Act at whichever of its three
said offices shall in the judgment of the Commission best suit
the convenience of the public in each case. All acts, orders,
or regulations agreed upon or passed in the said office lo-
cated within the District of Columbia, shall have the same
force and effect as though agreed upon or passed within the
District. The Commission shall annually publish in at least
one newspaper published in Montgomery County, and one in
Prince George's County a full and true account of its re-
ceipts and disbursements. Prior to such publication such
account shall be audited by the State Auditor of the State of
Maryland, who shall be paid such compensation by the Com-
mission as is paid the Auditor for auditing other State ac-
counts; provided, however, that said Commission may in ad-
dition to said state audit, employ a certified public accountant
to audit its books and accounts.
