therein the reasonable costs of bonds and undertakings and
other reasonable expenses incident to suit incurred by either
party, other than attorneys' fees, which shall be included
therein only if the judgment is recovered upon a contract con-
taining provision for such fees.

716-1. In all cases where the judgment is founded, in whole
or in part, on a claim for wages for personal services, the
Judge shall, upon motion (made after the expiration of the
time for appeal and provided no appeal from said judgment
had been taken) of the party obtaining the judgment, or may,
upon his own motion, order the appearance of the party
against whom such judgment has been entered (whether or
not said judgment has been recorded in a Court of record),
but not more than once each four weeks, for oral examination
under oath as to his financial status and his ability to pay
such judgment, and the Judge shall make such supplemental
orders as may seem just and proper to effectuate the payment
of the judgment upon reasonable terms. Upon the failure or
refusal of such defendant to appear and answer such oral
examination, the Judges shall have the power to enforce ap-
pearance by attachment. If defendant in such case be a cor-
poration, the Judges of said Court shall have power to compel
the attendance of any officer of said corporation, by attach-
ment.

716K. The dockets, records and papers of said Court shall
be retained in the custody of the Chief Constable of the People's
Court.

The dockets, records and papers of former Justices of the
Peace of the People's Court shall be retained in the custody of
the Chief Constable of the People's Court. Said Chief Con-
stable is hereby authorized to destroy all original papers in
his possession as such Chief Constable upon order of the
. Judges of the People's Court, as follows:

(a) Papers in cases brought under Sections 650 to 655 of
the Baltimore City Charter (1938) and any amendments
thereto may not be destroyed until at least three years shall
have elapsed from the date of filing.

(b. ) The original papers in all other cases shall not be de-
stroyed until the lapse of at least 13 years from the date of
filing.

716M. Except as otherwise provided in this Act or in rules
promulgated pursuant thereto, the practice and procedure in
all proceedings under this Act and the duties and powers of
said Judges shall be the same as provided for civil actions
before Justices of the Peace.
