CHAPTER 160,
(Senate Bill 131)
AN ACT to legalize the 1942 Edition of the Public Local
Laws of Harford County, as compiled by Dulaney C.
Higinbothom, and to make the same evidence of the laws
purporting to be contained therein, and to authorize
the Harford County Bar Association to sell copies
thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford
County, compiled by Dulaney C. Higinbothom, and pub-
lished by the Harford County Bar Association, be and the
same is hereby legalized, and shall be deemed and taken
in all the courts of this State, by alii justices of the peace
and by all public officials therein, to be evidence of the
public local laws of Harford County, purporting to be con-
tained therein.
SEC. 2. And be it further ordained, That the Harford
County Bar Association is hereby authorized to sell copies
of said Code at such price as in their judgment may be
desirable.
SEC. 3. And be it further ordained, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the preservation of the public health and safety, and being
passed upon by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two
houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

(Senate Bill 137)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sub-
section (d) of Section 3 of Article 95A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Unemployment
Compensation", sub-title "Benefits", as said Section was
amended by Chapter 385 of the Acts of 1941, relating
to the definition of the term "trainee. "
