SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

(Senate Bill 480)
AN ACT to repeal Section 560 of Article 6 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Caroline County", sub-title "State's Attorney", said
section relating to the fees to be collected by the Sheriff
for the State's Attorney.
Whereas, the State's Attorney for Caroline County is
now paid a salary, thereby making this section unneces-
sary; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 560 of Article 6 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Caroline County", sub-title "State's Attorney", be and it is
hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.
