Monday in August in each year. After being levied for
the collection of taxes so levied, from which time said taxes
shall draw six per cent, interest, the Commissioners shall
annually appoint a collector of taxes within the corporate
limits of said town, who may be the bailiff of said town, on"
or before the second Monday of July in each year, and the
said collector shall within ten days after his appointment,
give bond to the State of Maryland in double the amount
of taxes to be collected and conditioned upon the faithful
performance of the trust reposed in him as collector, with
sureties to be approved by the Commissioners, and on fail-
ure to give bond within the time specified, the Commission-
ers shall appoint another person as collector.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 813.
(Senate Bill 404)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 41 of Article 19 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1939 Edition), title "Comptroller", sub-title, "State
Auditor", and to add a new section to said Article, to
be known as Section 42, and to follow immediately after
Section 41 of said Article, relating to the term of office
of the State Auditor and providing that he submit re-
ports to the General Assembly.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
25 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title
"Licenses", providing for Class E and Class F licenses
in the event of the death and/or incompetency of any of
the persons to whom it is issued for a company.
