sion as its true and lawful attorney authorized to accept
on its behalf service of process in the action in which such
process issued, and in such case such process may be served
upon the State Tax Commission as the true and lawful
attorney of such corporation.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 734.

(Senate Bill 502)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
sections (Harford County) and (Worcester County) of
Section 100 and Section 104 of Article 52 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Justices of
the Peace, " sub-title "Trial Magistrates System, " as said
Section 100 was amended by Chapter 873 of the Acts of
1941, and as said Section 104 was amended by Chapter
336 of the Acts of 1941, providing for trial magistrates
and substitute trial magistrates in Harford and Wor-
cester Counties and for their compensation, and relating
to the compensation of the clerk to the Trial Magistrate
of the town of Brunswick, Frederick County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-sections (Harford County) and (Worcester Coun-
ty) of Section 100 and Section 104 of Article 52 the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Justices of
the Peace, " sub-title "Trial Magistrates System, " as said
Section 100 was amended by Chapter 873 of the Acts of
1941, and as said Section 104 was amended by Chapter 336
of the Acts of 1*941, be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:.

100. (Harford County. ) There shall be five Trial
Magistrates, one of whom shall sit at Bel Air, who shall
receive an annual salary of Twenty-five hundred dollars
($2, 500); one at Havre de Grace, who shall receive an
annual salary of Fifteen hundred dollars ($1500); two
at Aberdeen, who shall receive such salaries as may be
designated from time to time by the County Commissioners
of Harford County, but not to exceed in the aggregate the
sum of Twenty-three hundred dollars ($2300); one at Bar-
