of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "St. Mary's County, " sub-title "Schools, " said
new section to be known as Section 202E, to follow imme-
diately after Section 202D, as said section was amended by
Chapter 609 of the Acts of 1941, and to read as follows:
202E. The County Commissioners of St. Mary's County
are hereby authorized and directed to levy and appropriate
annually sufficient funds to defray any costs incurred by it
in carrying into effect the provisions of Sections 202C and
202D of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition).
And the said County Commissioners acting with the
Board of Education of St. Mary's County or independently
are hereby authorized and directed to establish such new
bus routes as may be necessary to transport children at-
tending non-State aided schools to and from school, com-
parable with that now furnished children attending the
public schools of St. Mary's County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 1050, 1062, 1063, and 1074 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edition),
being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Somer-
set", amending the Charter of the town of Somerset,
Montgomery County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 1050, 1062, 1063 and 1074 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County (1939
Edition), being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery County", sub-title
"Somerset", be and they are hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
1050. The qualified voters of said town, as the same
