WHEREAS, Mr. Sybert's administration of the office of Speaker
has been marked by fairness and fidelity to duty, bringing credit to
himself and honor to the State of Maryland; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Sybert, beginning in January, 1951, will again
be serving the State of Maryland as the Senator from Howard
County; now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Delegates of Maryland, That the sincere
thanks and appreciation of this House be extended to the Honor-
able C. Ferdinand Sybert of Howard County for his successful
conduct of the office of Speaker of the House since 1947; and be
it further

Resolved, That this House express to Mr. Sybert its sincere hope
for an equally successful tenure as Senator from Howard County
beginning in January, 1951; and be it further

Resolved, That a copy of this resolution be spread upon the
Journal of the House and that the Chief Clerk of the House be
instructed to send a copy thereof to the Honorable C. Ferdinand
Sybert.
