MESSAGE TO THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES

By Senator Byrnes:

ANNAPOLIS, MD., November 10, 1950.

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received your message notifying the Senate of the organ-
ization of your Honorable Body, and proposing a joint committee
of five members, three to be appointed on the part of the House
and two on the part of the Senate, to wait upon the Governor and
inform him that the General Assembly is now prepared to receive
any communication which he may desire to make.

We concur in your proposal for the appointment of a joint com-
mittee of five members and have appointed on the part of the
Senate, Senators Della and Phoebus.

We also desire to inform you that the Senate is organized, the
Honorable L. Harold Sotheron having been elected president and
C. Andrew Shaab having been elected Secretary of the Senate.

Which was ready assented to, and sent to the House of Delegates.
