CHAPTER 466.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
210, 211, and 21. 2 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester Coun-
ty", sub-title "Grows", the said sub-title to be changed to
"Crows and Hawks", relating to bounties for the killing of
crows and hawks and prescribing the condition for the pay-
ment of bounties for the killing of crows and hawks in
Dorchester County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 210, 211 and 212 of Article 10 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dor-
chester County", sub-title "Crows", be and the same are here-
by repealed and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as
follows:
CROWS AND HAWKS
210. Any person killing any crow or hawk within the limits
of Dorchester County shall be entitled to receive a bounty of
ten (10) cents for each and every crow so killed and ten (10)
cents for each and every hawk so killed.
211. To obtain said bounty, it shall be necessary for the
person killing said crow or hawk to produce the head of the
same before the clerk of the Circuit Court for Dorchester
County, and at the same time make oath that the said crow
or hawk was killed within the limits of said county, and there-
upon the said clerk shall give a certificate of the production of
the said head before him and the taking of said oath; and it
shall be the duty of the said clerk to destroy the said head so
as to prevent a second allowance upon the same.
212. Upon the production of the said clerk's certificate
before the County Commissioners, they are authorized and di-
rected to levy upon the assessable property of the county a
sum sufficient for such bounties for the use of the person pro-
ducing the same, and shall pay the same accordingly.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.
