shall at the same time fill out on a stub attached to the license
blank the name and address of the licensee and shall then
detach said stub and mail same to the State Game Warden
the first day of each and every month in each year. Such
license shall be void on the thirty-first day of December of
each year following date of issuance.
For the purpose of this Act, a resident shall be a person
who has resided in this State permanently for a period of not
less than six (6) months.
Said licensee shall insert his or her name on said license in
ink at the time of purchase. Said license shall not be trans-
ferable and if used or presented by any person other than the
person to whom it was issued such license and button or badge
shall be confiscated by the State Game Warden, any Deputy
Game Warden, Constable, or other officer, who shall find such
license being used.
87. Clerk's Duties. The Clerks of Courts or other persons
authorized to sell such license shall retain as compensation
for issuing the above licenses the sum of Twenty-five Cents
(25) and shall on the first day of June, 1941, and on the first
day of each and every month thereafter transmit to the Comp-
troller of the State all monies received by them for licenses,,
and the amount received by the Comptroller shall be placed
to the credit of a separate fund known as "The State Game
Protection Fund", and shall be disbursed by the Comptroller
from time to time on warrants signed by the State Game
Warden and countersigned by a representative of the Com-
mission. The monies in said fund to the credit of the Angler's
License shall be used solely for the salaries and expenses and
for scientific investigations, protection, and propagation of
game fish and fresh water fishes.
In case a person shall lose his angler's license and button or
badge, he may make affidavit as to the date of issuance, num-
ber, description, as provided therein giving name of Clerk or
person who issued said license, and with this information the
Commission is authorized to issue a duplicate angler's license
and button or badge at the cost of Fifty Percent (50%) of
the original cost.
The Commission is hereby authorized to issue annually, not
to exceed Twenty (20) complimentary angler's licenses and
buttons or badges to the following persons: (a) The Chief
Executive of the United States, (b) the Governor of any
State, (c) to authorized officials of the Game and Pish Depart-
ments of other States. Such licenses shall not be transferable
and shall be issued without fee on such forms as the Com-
mission may designate.
