duplicate copies of such process shall be delivered to him and
he shall immediately forward one copy of each such process to
the last appointed attorney-in-fact by registered mail, postage
prepaid, giving the day and hour of such service.

103Q. Penalties. It shall be unlawful for any person to
act as an underwriter of or attorney-in-fact for a Lloyds ex-
cept in accordance with the provisions of this Act, and any
person violating any of the provisions of this Act shall be
deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor and be subject to a fine
of not more than one thousand dollars for each such offense.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 442.
(House Bill 522)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 42
of Article 99, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Water Fowl and Migratory Birds—Use of
Boats Prohibited—Blinds", sub-title "Blinds".

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 42 of Article 99 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Water Fowl and Migratory
Birds—Use of Boats Prohibited—Blinds", sub-title "Blinds",
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

42. It shall be lawful in or over the waters to erect, set
or maintain a booby, brush or stake blind, and same shall be
stationary; in which shall be built a platform for the purpose
of shooting from. It shall be unlawful to erect, set or maintain
any blind at a greater distance than 300 yards from the natural
shore, from which same may be erected. Said blinds shall
not be less than 500 yards apart measured in a straight line;
provided, however, that a blind or blinds on land when located
at a distance of more than fifty yards from natural shore
shall not be less than 300 yards apart measured in a straight
line, and be it further provided, however, it shall be unlawful
in or over the waters of Baltimore County to erect, set or
maintain any blind at a greater distance than 150 yards from
the natural shore.
