be privileged to obtain a wholesaler's license upon payment
of the required fee for the County or Baltimore City where the
location is desired. Such a license holder shall be permitted to
purchase or acquire beer only from the holder of a manufac-
turer's or wholesaler's license. However, if the application
states the privilege of importing beer is desired and an addi-
tional fee of $50. 00 accompanies the application to the Comp-
troller, the license shall designate that the holder thereof is
privileged to import beer from outside the State of Maryland
for sale only to retail dealers in the Counties or City covered
in the license. The hours during which the privilege conferred
by such a license may be exercised shall be from 6 A. M. to
9 P. M. on every day except Sunday and the day of any gen-
eral, special or primary election.
Delivery from a truck or vehicle under the exclusive con-
trol of the holder of a wholesaler's or beer wholesaler's license,
of beer previously purchased by and delivered to the license
holder, shall constitute delivery from his place of business
within the meaning of this Section.
Every person not the holder of a manufacturer's or whole-
saler's license who desires the privilege of selling beer to re-
tail license holders in this State shall obtain a beer whole
saler's license and beginning June 1st, 1939, no other license
in this State shall be required.
This sub-section shall not apply to Montgomery County;
and no holder of a beer wholesaler's license may sell or deliver
beer in Montgomery County except to a County Liquor Dis-
pensary.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 63
of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Boards of
License Commissioners", relating to the procedure for ap-
peals in Montgomery County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
