person shall be tried. A copy of any regulation adopted by the
Commission shall be mailed to the Clerk of the Circuit Court
who shall make a record thereof and cause the same to be
posted in front of the Court House of the County.
6. The Game Warden shall have the power to appoint
deputy game wardens to assist him in more efficiently enforc-
ing the game and inland fish laws of this State, he may issue a
commission signed by him to such persons as he may designate
to act as Deputy Game Wardens to enforce said laws, who
shall be known as "Non-Salaried Deputy Game Wardens",
Such persons may be appointed for the whole State or such
county or counties, city or cities, as the Game Warden may
designate. Such deputy game wardens shall not receive a
salary from the State, county or counties, or cities, but shall
be paid such compensation out of the State Game Protection
Fund as the Game Warden may determine.
The Game Warden may also appoint deputy game wardens
for the whole State or for such county or counties, city or
cities, as he may designate. Such deputy game wardens shall
be known as "Salaried Officers" and shall be appointed with
the approval of the Commission. Each deputy game warden so
appointed shall receive a salary of not less than Twelve Hun-
dred Dollars ($1, 200. 00) per annum. Each deputy game warden
who shall have been rated by the State Game Warden in the
first grade for a full year, shall receive increased salary at the
rate of One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) per annum and for each
year thereafter in which he shall so qualify he shall receive a
like increase until he receives a maximum sum of Fifteen Hun-
dred Dollars ($1, 500. 00) per annum, and shall also be entitled
to necessary traveling expenses incurred by him in the dis-
charge of his duties, subject to such regulations and limitations:
as the Game Warden may from time to time see fit to establish.
The Game Warden is authorized, with the consent of the
Commission, to appoint Regional Deputy Game Wardens, who
shall be required to supervise the District Deputy Game
Wardens of their respective region, each of whom shall receive
a salary not to exceed Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1, 500. 00)
per annum and necessary traveling expenses and other ex-
penses incurred by him in the discharge of his official duties,
subject to such regulations and limitations as the Game
Warden, upon the advice of the Commission, may from time
to time see fit to establish. The Game Warden is also author-
ized, with the consent of the Commission, to appoint Wildlife-
Technicians, Biologists, or Scientists, who shall be paid such
compensation as the Commission and Game Warden may
determine. All appointments shall be made under the Merit
System in accordance with the provisions of Article 64A of the
