sion, or disturb or remove said buoys or markers, or tres-
pass upon the area for the purpose of catching oysters or
interfering with the work of the Commission thereon,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to the pen-
alties prescribed in Section 161 of this subtitle,,
169. The Commission is authorized to operate said
areas reserved for its use as aforesaid, to plant thereon
oysters, shells or other cultch; to protect the catch of
spat, and propagate oysters; to transplant to other re-
served areas or otherwise dispose of within the State of
Maryland any oysters, or seed oysters developed thereon.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or
parts of Acts inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
48 of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Courts", sub-title "Pensions of
Judges", relating to the payment of salaries to certain
classes of judges after their retirement from office.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 48 of Article 26 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1989 Edition), title "Courts", sub-title
"Pensions of Judges", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
48. Every person who has been duly commissioned and
qualified and has served as judge of any of the Circuit
Courts for any of the Counties or of the Supreme Bench
of Baltimore City or of the Court of Appeals and who
shall have reached the age of seventy years and shall have
served as a judge for ten years or more, or who shall
attain the age of sixty years while in office, after having
served the twenty preceding consecutive years, shall be
entitled to a salary of three thousand dollars per an-
