SECTION 1. Be it enacted % the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That from among the police officers of the Prince George's
County Police force, the Police Commissioners of Prince
George's County are authorized and directed to designate one
(1) of said police officers to be the Identification Officer of
the Prince George's County Police force, who shall receive a
salary of eighteen hundred dollars ($1800. 00) per annum, pay-
able in equal monthly installments, and no other fees or com-
pensation whatsoever, except the actual expenses for the
maintenance and upkeep of an automobile which may be pro-
vided for him by the Police Commissioners and the sum of
sixty dollars ($60. 00) per annum for uniforms; such Identifi-
cation Officer shall be designated by the Police Commissioners
upon recommendation of the Superintendent of Police, and
shall be subject in all respects to the provisions of Chapter
50 of the Acts of 1937, with respect to police officers in general.
Provided, however, that the officer designated as hereinabove
provided shall be entitled to any pay increases heretofore or
hereafter applicable to the other members of the Prince
George's County Police Force.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 308
of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County", sub-title
"County Commissioners", as said section was amended by
Chapter 293 of the Acts of 1937, increasing the compensa-
tion of the County Commissioners of Prince George's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 308 of Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince
George's County", sub-title "County Commissioners", as said
section was amended by Chapter 293 of the Acts of 1937, be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
308. The five County Commissioners for Prince George's
County shall each receive as compensation for their services,
