tioned above, if sold for not less than the original cost to the
Commission, plus costs and expenses.

426B. The Commission may purchase any benefited prop-
erty or any other property in which it holds a lien by judg-
ment or otherwise, sold by any Trustee, Receiver or any other
person or sold under Section 432 of the Act, or by the Sheriff
of the county, in the same manner as if it were a natural per-
son, at a price not greater than its lien, plus costs and ex-
penses. The said property when so acquired shall be exempt
from State, County and Municipal taxes.

426C. Any property acquired by the Commission in any
manner whatsoever may be sold at public or private sale; at a
price not less than the appraisal value if sold at private sale
and on such terms as the Commission may elect.

426D. The Commission may hold or dispose of any property
acquired in the same manner as if it were a natural person.

426E. All real estate heretofore acquired by the Commis-
sion at either public, private or tax sale, be and the same is
hereby ratified, confirmed and legalized.

427. Whenever fifteen property owners residing in any
locality in Anne Arundel County outside of the boundaries of
the Sanitary District shall in writing petition the Commission
to have said locality (the boundaries whereof shall be definitely
stated in said petition) constituted as a part of the whole
Sanitary District, then if the Commission, in Its discretion,
shall deem it expedient to constitute said locality in accord-
ance with the prayer of said Petitioners, and if the County
Commissioners consent thereto, the Commission shall cause
plats of such locality to be made under the supervision of a
competent civil engineer, showing the boundary lines of the
proposed water, sewerage or drainage systems to be con-
structed, a copy of which plat shall be filed in the office of the
Commission, one in the office of the County Commissioners and
one in a plat book indexed "Anne Arundel County Sanitary
Commission", in the office where the Land Records of Anne
Arundel County are kept, each locality -shown on said plats
shall be, and the same is hereby designated and constituted for
the purposes of this Act to be a part of the whole Sanitary Dis-
trict; and the filing of said plats aforesaid shall constitute
legal notice to the public of any liens of said Commission.

427A. That for the purpose of providing for the organiza-
tion and preliminary expenses of any newly constituted loca-
tion or sub-district, the Commission may borrow from the
