payment of salaries and expenses incurred in connection there-
with; to impose reasonable charges and fees for services
rendered by the administrative officials, and to levy taxes for
the payment of salaries and expenses herein authorized.

Any violation of regulations and restrictions adopted pur-
suant to this Act shall be a misdemeanor, punishable by a
fine not to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) or by im-
prisonment not to exceed thirty days, or both fine and im-
prisonment. Any person who shall violate such regulations
and restrictions shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense
for every day that such violation shall continue.

The County Commissioners, the Zoning Commissioner and
the Board of Zoning Appeals, or any of them, or any person
whose property is affected by any violation, including abutting
and adjacent property owners, whether specially damaged or
not, may maintain an action in the Circuit Court for Balti-
more County for an injunction enjoining the erection, con-
struction, reconstruction, alteration, repair or use of build-
ings, structures and land in violation of regulations and
restrictions adopted pursuant to this Act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all acts and parts
of acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And l)e it further enacted, That in the event that
any part of this Act should be found to be invalid by any
court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining parts of the
Act shall continue in full force and effect

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and being
passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of
all of the members of each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect immediately upon its
passage.

Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Kent
