SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That a new section be and
it is hereby added to Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County",
sub-title "Frederick City", sub-heading "Election and Regis-
tration", said new section to be known as Section 341A and
to follow immediately after Section 341 of said Article, and
to read as follows:
341A. A female applicant for registration as a voter shall
not be required to state her exact age, but it shall be suffi-
cient for the applicant to state, in answer to any and all
questions relating to her age, that she will be at least 21
years of age on the regular election day next succeeding the
day of registration, and entry shall be made accordingly under
the column "Age" of the registry book anything to the con-
trary in said Article notwithstanding.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 159.
(House Bill 340)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Chapter 55
of the Acts of 1937 of the General Assembly of Maryland, au-
thorizing the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland to issue
coupon bonds in the amount of One Hundred Fifty Thou-
sand ($150, 000. 00) Dollars, and to provide for the maturity
thereof, and the payment of the interest thereon and the
laying of taxes to provide for the payment of the principal
thereof at maturity, and to provide for the payment of the
proceeds of said bonds toward the construction of addi-
tions and alterations to the Memorial Hospital, a publicly-
owned institution in Cumberland, Maryland, and declaring
said Act to be an emergency law.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 55 of the Acts of 1937 of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, pertaining to the issuance, by the Mayor
and City Council of Cumberland, of coupon bonds in the
amount of One Hundred Fifty Thousand ($150, 000. 00) Dol-
lars, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, so as to read as follows:
