exercised thereunder until it has been submitted for adoption
or rejection to the qualified voters of Cumberland at the next
regular election in said City or at a special municipal election
to be held at such time and place as the Mayor and Council
of Cumberland may fix by ordinance. There shall be printed
on the ballots to be used at such election the title of this Act
and, underneath it, on separate lines, the words "For Water
Improvement Bonds of 1941" and "Against Water Improve-
ment Bonds of 1941", with a square or box to the right of and
opposite each line, so that the voters may designate by a
cross-mark in the proper square or box their decision for or
against the question. If a majority of the votes cast on the
question are for said Water Improvement Bonds, then this
Act shall become operative and effective. Otherwise, it shall
be void and of no effect whatsoever.

SEC. 8.. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1941.

CHAPTER 933.

(House Bill 485)

AN ACT to add three new sections to Article 17 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County", to be under new sub-title "Road-
side Control", said new sections to be known as Sections
897A, 897B and 897C and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 897 of said Article, authorizing the County Commis-
sioners of Prince George's County to adopt regulations re-
lating to the regulation of structures, uses of land and
structures, and other matters, within specified areas along
certain public highways in Prince George's County, and
providing for punishment for violations of said regulations.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That three new sections be and they are hereby added
to Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County", to be under
new sub-title "Roadside Control", said new sections to be
known as Sections 897A, 897B and 897C, to follow immediate-
ly after Section 897 of said Article, and to read as follows:

897A. (a) This sub-title applies only to (1) Central
Avenue, between the District of Columbia boundary and the
