SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and Council of Brunswick be and they
are hereby authorized to provide by ordinance for a general
re-registration of voters of the town at such time during 1941
and at such place or places as they may prescribe.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 190
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County
(1939 Edition), being Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery County", sub-
title "County Commissioners and Treasurer", relating to the
interest of public officials or employees in contracts to which
the Board of County Commissioners or County Board of
Education is a party and to the purchase of land by the
County Commissioners or County Board of Education of
Montgomery County, and authorizing the Board of County
Commissioners to use certain funds and levy for school
purposes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 190 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County (1939 Edition), being Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "County Commissioners and Treasurer", be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to
read as follows:
190. It shall be unlawful for any member of the Board of
County Commissioners of Montgomery County or of the Board
of County Education of said county, or for any other salaried
county official or employee paid with county funds, to be di-
rectly or indirectly interested, for profit, in any contract or
purchase involving the expenditure of public funds to which
the Board of County Commissioners of said county or any
member thereof is a party, and any member of such Board or
any other salaried county official or employee paid with county
funds so interested, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and, upon indictment and conviction therefor, shall forfeit
