Roads Commission under the provisions of this Article shall
become the property of and be reserved for the use of the State
Roads Commission.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 453 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Allegany County",
sub-title "Manufacturers and Miners", requiring weekly
payment of wages by certain individuals, firms and cor-
porations in Allegany County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 453 of Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Alle-
gany County", sub-title "Manufacturers and Miners", be
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments to read as follows:

453. All persons, firms and corporations hereafter
engaged in mining and shipping coal in Allegany County
are hereby required to pay each and all their employees
their wages earned in said employment weekly, unless
there be a collective bargaining agreement providing
otherwise. Upon each weekly pay day, every such
employer shall pay to each employee all wages earned on
or before the preceding weekly pay day.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1941.
