Braddock Heights, $450 of said sum to the Treasurer of the
New Midway Fire Company of New Midway, $700 of said sum
to the Treasurer of the Myersville Volunteer Fire Company of
Myersville, f 200 of said sum to the Treasurer of the Blue Ridge
Summit Fire Company, and $300 of said sum to the Treasurer
of the Citizens Truck Company of Frederick, the said sums to
be applied by the respective companies for their maintenance
and support.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 123.
(House Bill 191)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 45
of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Public Education", sub-title "Chapter 4.
County Board of Education", relating to the title to school
property in Allegany and Garrett Counties when such prop-
erty is no longer needed for educational purposes.

CHAPTER 124.
(House Bill 249)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 50
of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County", sub-title '"Del-
mar", providing for the levy of taxes, the appointment of a
Collector, the collection of taxes and taxes sales.

50. The Commissioners may levy on or before the first day,
of April annually on the assessable property of the town a sum
sufficient for all general purposes, such taxes not to exceed one
dollar on the one hundred dollars worth of property. Such
taxes, where levied, shall be a preferred lien upon the prop-
erty assessed. Such taxes shall be levied for the calendar
year, and as of the first day of January of such year as the
date of finality, shall be due and payable on and after the
