as said section was amended by Chapter 361 of the Acts of
1939, increasing the compensation of the attorney to the
Supervisors of Elections.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 54 of Article 7 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Carroll County", sub-
title "Elections", as said section was amended by Chapter
361 of the Acts of 1939, be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
54. The Supervisors of Elections of Carroll County shall
receive an annual salary of four hundred dollars ($400. 00)
each. The secretary to the Supervisors of Elections shall re-
ceive an annual salary of two hundred and fifty dollars
($250. 00). The attorney for the Supervisors of Elections
shall receive an annual salary of two hundred and fifty dollars
($250. 00). All other expenses shall be in the discretion of the
County Commissioners of said county.
SEC. 2. And l)e It further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
60 and 61 of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County", sub-
title "County Treasurer", eliminating certain obsolete pro-
visions, making said sections conform and making certain
minor changes in certain provisions relating to the County
Treasurer of St. Mary's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 60 and 61 of Article 19 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St.
Mary's County", sub-title "County Treasurer", be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
60. (a) At the general election held on the first Tuesday
