SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That in each and every
year that any of the bonds of Series B, C and D hereby au-
thorized are outstanding, the Mayor and City Council of
Havre de Grace shall levy a tax or taxes upon all property
within the corporate limits of said municipality, subject to
assessment for taxation, sufficient to provide for the payment
of the maturing interest on said bonds as the same becomes
due and payable, and also a tax or taxes sufficient in amount
to provide for the single principal maturity of said bonds of
Series B and the annual principal maturities of said bonds of
Series C and D, said tax or taxes to be levied without limita-
tion as to rate or amount notwithstanding any other limita-
tion upon the taxing power of the Mayor and City Council of
Havre de Grace now in force or which may hereafter be im-
posed by law.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That the full faith and
credit of the Mayor and City Council of Havre de Grace shall
be pledged to the payment of all of the bonds hereby author-
ized and to the payment of the interest thereon and, notwith-
standing any limitation of any nature or kind whatsoever,
now or hereafter in force, the Mayor and City Council of
Havre de Grace shall have full power and authority to pledge
and is hereby directed to exercise unlimited taxing power for
the purpose of securing the payment of the principal and in-
terest of all of said bonds.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
7(17) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "What
Shall Be Taxed and Where. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 7(17) of Article 81 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title '"Revenue and Taxes", sub-
title "What Shall Be Taxed and Where", be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
