mine to be just. Any owner of such property failing to
remove such obstruction within such time as may be limited
in the notice from the County Commissioners of Baltimore
County to do so shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and
subject to a fine of not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25. 00)
and not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00). Provided,
however, that in addition to the criminal penalty herein pro-
vided for, the County Commissioners of Baltimore County
shall have the further right and power, after giving the afore-
said notice and upon failure of the owner of such property
to comply therewith, to have such trees, bushes, vines, fences,
signs or other obstructions removed and charge the cost of
such removal to the owner or owners of said property, which
said cost or charges shall be a lien on said property and be
collected in the same manner as taxes are now collected.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on and after June 1, 1941.

(House Bill 214)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
39 to 63, both inclusive, of Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Prince
George's County", sub-title "Bladensburg", said amendments
being a general revision of the Charter for the Village of
Bladensburg, changing the official name thereof, and grant-
ing additional powers, including the power to borrow money.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 39 to 63, both inclusive, of Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County", sub-title "Bladensburg", be and
they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
39. The citizens of the Town of Bladensburg, in Prince
George's County, are a body corporate, by the name of "Com-
missioners of the Town of Bladensburg", and by that name
may sue, and be sued, and may have and use a common seal,
and may purchase and hold real, personal and mixed property,
and lease, sell or otherwise dispose of the same for the benefit
of the Town.
