by the narcotic drug alone; and (b) that such preparation
shall be administered, dispensed, and sold in good faith as a
medicine, and not for the purpose of evading the provisions of
this sub-title.

(3) Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit the
quantity of codeine or of any of its salts that may be pre-
scribed, administered, dispensed, or sold, to any person or for
the use of any person or animal, when it is prescribed, ad-
ministered, dispensed or sold, in compliance with the general
provisions of this sub-title.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 726.
(House Bill 560)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 16 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Chancery", sub-title
"Pleading, Practice and Process", said new section to be
known as Section 233A and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 233 of said Article, authorizing the Register of Wills
to deposit all of certain unclaimed funds in the hands of
fiduciaries in a special account.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
16 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Chancery", sub-title "Pleading, Practice and Process", said
new section to be known as Section 233A, to follow immediately
after Section 233 of said Article, and to read as follows:

233A. The Register of Wills for Baltimore City, and the
Register of Wills for each County of the State, and their suc-
cessors in office, is hereby authorized and empowered to set up
upon his books an account to be known as the "Registry of the
Orphans' Court for.............. City (or County)"; and the

said Register of Wills for Baltimore City or for the counties, as
the case may be, is further authorized and empowered to open
an account in any bank or trust company located in said Balti-
more City or in the respective County, under the name of the
"Registry of the Orphans' Court for............... City (or

County)", said account to be used for the depositing and safe-
