629A. On and after the effective date of this Act, the fol-
lowing described area shall no longer be included within the
Montgomery County Suburban District:

"Section 1 as per plat recorded in Plat Record, Book No. 4,
page 312 of the Land Records of Montgomery County, ex-
cluding the west half of Cedar Parkway, as shown on said
Plat. "

The owner or owners of the property in said area shall not
hereafter be levied upon for taxes applicable only to the Mont-
gomery County Suburban District, nor shall any indebtedness
of said District, incurred after the effective date of this Act,
be a lien upon any property included within said area; pro-
vided, that, any future levy for any bond or indebtedness of
said District, incurred before the effective date of this Act, or
any extension, refinancing or renewal thereof, shall include
the owners of and be a lien upon the property within said ex-
cluded area; provided, however, that nothing herein contained
shall be construed to relieve either the owner or the property
in said area from the obligation of the tax levy of July 1_? 1938.

SEC. 2. And be It further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and being
passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of
all of the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of
its passage.

(House Bill 566)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 7
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935
Supplement), title "Elections", sub-title "Supervisors of
Elections", as said section was amended by Chapter 95 of
the Acts of 1937, eliminating the provision as to salaries
of employees of the Supervisors of Elections of Baltimore
City no longer in effect and eliminating the provision as to
the method of appointing the Assistant Chief Clerk to the
Supervisors of Elections of Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mart/-
land, That Section 7 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
