SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 425.

(Senate Bill 455)

AN ACT to authorize, empower and direct the County
Commissioners of Worcester County to grant and convey
unto The Board of Education of Worcester County all
of the right, title and interest of the said County Com-
missioners of Worcester County in and to any and all
real estate which has heretofore been conveyed to and
now held by said County Commissioners of Worcester
County and now or formerly used for school purposes in
said Worcester County.

WHEREAS, County Commissioners of Worcester County,
a body corporate, is designated by law as the successors to
the Commissioners of Worcester County and The Board of
Education of Worcester County, a body corporate, is desig-
nated by law to take and hold title to all public school
properties in said Worcester County; and

WHEREAS it is found that certain of the public school
properties of said Worcester County were conveyed to said
Commissioners of Worcester County or to County Commis-
sioners of Worcester County and it is desired that said
County Commissioners of Worcester County shall convey
unto The Board of Education of Worcester County all of
the right, title and interest of said County Commissioners
of Worcester County in and to any and all of said school
properties the title to which is found to be in said Com-
missioners of Worcester County or County Commissioners
of Worcester County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That County Commissioners of Worcester
County be and it is hereby authorized, empowered and
directed to grant and convey unto The Board of Education
of Worcester County, by a good and sufficient deed,
executed and delivered in accordance with the laws of the
State of Maryland, all of the right, title and interest of
the said County Commissioners of Worcester County in
