CHAPTER 411.
(Senate Bill 385)

AN ACT to legalize the 1939 Edition of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Montgomery County, being Article 16 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, compiled
and edited by Horace E. Flack.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Code of Public Local Laws of Mont-
gomery County, being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, compiled and edited by Horace E. Flack,
be and the same is hereby legalized, and shall be deemed
and taken in all the courts of the State, and by all Jus-
tices of the Peace of the State, and by all public officials
of the State, to be evidence of the Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County, in existence at the time of compila-
tion; provided, that before the said 1939 Edition is pub-
lished, all Public Local Laws enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland at its session in 1939, relating to Mont-
gomery County shall be incorporated therein.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Police Commissioner
of Baltimore City to pay a pension to the widow of Irvin
F. Krause, a former member of the Police Department
of Baltimore City.
