incident to the preparation of said tax bills. All Collec-
tions made by said County Treasurer under the provisions
hereof shall be remitted and paid by him to the treasurers
of the respective municipalities of Aberdeen, Bel Air and
Havre de Grace on the first day of February in each and
every year; and he shall deduct from said gross collections
the sum of five per cent as compensation for his said
services.
All provisions, rights and remedies now existing or
which may hereafter be provided under any general or
local laws with reference to the collection of county taxes
for Harford County are made available to the County
Treasurer of Harford County for the purpose of collecting
the taxes as herein provided.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all acts, gen-
eral, local and special, including the charter provisions of
the municipalities of Aberdeen, Bel Air and Havre de
Grace, insofar as the same are inconsistent with the pro-
visions hereof, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
69, 70 and 72 of Article 13, of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title, "Harford County, " sub-title
"Almshouse, " providing for the compensation of the
overseer; the keeping of his accounts, and penalty for
the failure to keep said accounts.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 69, 70 and 72 of Article 13, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title, "Harford
County, " sub-title, "Almshouse, " be and the same are here-
by repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as
follows:
69. They shall allow him such annual compensation
for his services as they may think proper.
