Section 353-F to follow immediately after Section 353-E
of said Article and to read as follows:
353-F. The Town Commissioners of Queenstown are
hereby authorized and empowered to levy a tax on the
assessable property within the Town of Queenstown for
the express purpose of raising funds to operate and main-
tain the present fire prevention water system and make
such extensions for the domestic and commercial use in
said system as may from time to time be deemed necessary,
but said tax shall not exceed ten cents (10¢) on each one
hundred dollars of assessable property within the Town of
Queenstown.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
55 to 71 inclusive of Article 11, of The Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition) title "Frederick
County" sub-title "Burkittsville".
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 55 to 71 inclusive of Article 11 of
The Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, be and they
are repealed and re-enacted with amendments as follows:
55. The citizens of the Town of Burkittsville, in Fred-
erick County, are hereby constituted a body corporate by
the name of the Commissioners of Burkittsville, and by
that name may sue and be sued, and have and use a com-
mon seal.
56. The corporate limits of said town shall be as
