3A. Commercial motor vehicles with two axles and
equipped with pneumatic tires, electrically operated, shall
be divided into six classes based upon the gross shipping
weight of the chassis, battery, body and load as given and
certified to by the manufacturer, and the fee for each class
shall be as follows:

Shipping Weight of Chassis, Battery, Body
Class and Load in Pounds Fee

1 Less than 6000............................................................... $60

2 6000 and over but less than 9000..................................... 80

3 9000 and over but less than 12000.................................... 100

4 12000 and over but less than 16000.................................. 160

5 16000 and over but less than 20000................................. 220

6 20000 and over but less than 25000................................ 300

4A. Commercial motor vehicles with three axles and
equipped with pneumatic tires, electrically operated, shall
be divided into six classes based upon the gross shipping
weight of the chassis, battery, body and load as given and
certified to by the manufacturer, and the fee for each class
shall be as follows:

3 14000 and over but less than 20000................................. 160

4 20000 and over but less than 26000................................. 240

5 26000 and over but less than 36000.................................. 320

6 36000 and over but less than 40000................................. 400

Nothing in this section, or sub-sections (1A), (2A),
(3A) or (4A) shall be construed to repeal or amend the
law prescribing the fees to be paid by freight motor vehi-
cles operating for hire with a permit from the Public
Service Commission. In the event any of the motor vehi-
cles hereinbefore set forth in sub-sections (1A), (2A),
(3A), or (4A) shall also operate in interstate commerce,
they shall pay the road mileage tax for the use and main-
tenance of the roads as provided elsewhere.

Class B. Solid Tires. For each motor vehicle equipped
wholly or in part with solid tires propelled by other than
