Upon the expiration of the terms of the present Treasurers
of the respective counties, the County Commissioners of said
Counties are hereby directed to require the bonds of said Treas-
urers to be conditioned upon the payment to said Commission
of the amount collected for it, in addition to the present re-
quirements of said bonds.
The said Commission shall pay to the Treasurers of the re-
spective Counties such an amount as the Treasurers and said
Commission may agree upon as a reasonable charge for the
services of said Treasurers, and for clerk hire for the added
burdens put upon their offices by the duties herein prescribed,
and in the event of a failure to agree the said Treasurer or
Treasurers and said Commission shall refer the matter to the
County Commissioners of the County where the disagreement
arises and the said County Commissioners shall determine
what in their judgment is a reasonable compensation annually
for said Treasurer. The amount agreed upon or determined
shall be paid to the respective Treasurers monthly by said Com-
mission.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to add two new sections to Article 16 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Montgomery County", sub-title "Gaming", said new sec-
tions to be known as Sections 413A and 413B and to follow
immediately after Section 413 of said Article, and to add
two new sections to Article 17 of said Code., title "Prince
George's County", to be under sub-title "Gaming", said new
sections to be known as Sections 562A and 562B and to fol-
low immediately after Section 562 of said Article, making
it a crime in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties to
be concerned in any manner with a lottery or to have in
possession any device for conducting a lottery.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land) That two new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Gaming",
