SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
being passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 203.
(Senate Bill 314)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Somerset County", to be under subtitle "McCready
Memorial Hospital", said new section to be known as
Section 230A and to follow immediately after Section
230 of said Article, authorizing and directing the County
Commissioners of Somerset County to levy and pay a
certain sum annually to McCready Memorial Hospital in
Crisfield.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Somerset County", to be under sub-
title "McCready Memorial Hospital", said new section to be
known as Section 230A and to follow immediately after
Section 230 of said Article and to read as follows:

230A. The County Commissioners of Somerset County
are hereby authorized and directed to levy and pay annually
to the Edward W. McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield,
the sum of $1500. 00 for the support and maintenance of
said hospital.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1939.
