may from time to time and at any time mature any part
or all of the bonds issued hereunder.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That any and all
Acts or parts of Acts, and all laws or any part or parts of
laws whether Public General Laws or Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, inconsistent with or conflicting in any
way with the provisions of this Act, be and they are hereby
repealed insofar and to the extent that the same shall
conflict.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
79 and 80 of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County",
sub-title "Fire Companies", increasing the annual levy
for the support of volunteer fire companies in Worces-
ter County and providing for payment to an additional
fire company.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 79 and 80 of Article 24 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Worcester County", sub-title "Fire Companies", be
and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments to read as follows:
79. The County Commissioners of Worcester County
are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to levy
annually, at the time for making their regular levy for
county taxes, a special tax of two cents on each one hundred
dollars of assessable property in said Worcester County,
the funds so raised to be distributed and expended by the
said County Commissioners of Worcester County for the
