ises where sold. The annual fee for such a license shall be
Twenty-five Dollars ($25. 00) and shall be payable to said
clerk, before any such license be issued for distribution as
hereinafter provided.

This Section shall not apply to Baltimore City and Bal-
timore, Garrett, Caroline, Allegany, St. Mary's, Harford
and Queen Anne's counties.

The hours during which the privileges conferred by such
a license may be exercised shall be from 6 A. M. to 12
o'clock midnight on every day except Sunday and the day
of any general, special or primary election.

(4) BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSE, CLASS A.
(OFF SALE). Such a license shall be issued by the Clerk
of the Circuit Court of the County in which the place or
business is located, or by the Clerk of the Court of Com-
mon Pleas of Baltimore City, if the place of business is
located in said City. Such license shall authorize the
holder thereof to keep for sale, and to sell beer and light
wines at retail, in any quantity to any consumers, at the
place therein described, and to deliver the same in a sealed
package or container, which package or container shall
not be opened nor its contents consumed on the premises
where sold. The annual fee for such a license shall be
Thirty-five Dollars ($35. 00) and shall be payable to said
clerk, before any such license is issued, for distribution as
hereinafter provided.

This Section shall not apply to Allegany, Anne Arun-
del, Calvert, Caroline, Dorchester, Frederick, Garrett, Har-
ford, Howard, Kent, Queen Anne's, St. Mary's, Somerset
and Talbot Counties.

5. Form of application. Every application for a license
shall be made to the Board of License Commissioners and
the Clerks of Court upon forms prescribed by the Comp-
troller. Every application for a license shall contain the
following statements:

(1) The class of license desired;

(2) The name and residence of the applicant and how
long he has resided at that address;

(3) A statement that the applicant is a citizen of the
United States.

(4) A statement that the applicant has been for two^
years next preceding the filing of his application a resident
