(c) It shall be lawful to use a sink box, sink boat or sneak
boat in and over the waters of the Elk and Sassafras Rivers
as legalized by the local Acts of Cecil County prior to 1927;
however, it shall be unlawful to use a sneak boat in or over
any of the waters of this State except on the Susquehanna
Flats and the waters of Cecil County as herein defined.

(j) Any person violating any of the provisions of this sec-
tion shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con-
viction before any Justice of the Peace of this State, shall be
fined not less than fifty dollars ($50. 00) nor more than one
hundred dollars (f 100. 00) for each and every offense and each
wild duck, goose, swan or brant so shot at, killed or had in
possession shall constitute a separate offense under this sec-
tion.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 92.
(House Bill 130)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 491
of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Criers,
Bailiffs, Watchmen and Stenographers", authorizing the
Clerk of the Baltimore City Court to appoint a night watch-
man.

(Vetoed. )

CHAPTER 93.
(House Bill 215)

AN ACT to add three new sections to Article 12 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Garrett County", sub-title "Oakland", said new sections
to be known as Sections 406A, 406B and 406C to follow
immediately after Section 406 of said Article, providing
for elections in Oakland, Garrett County, Maryland, and
the arranging of an official ballot for the same.
