Georges-Montgomery County Boundary Line; thence north-
erly and southerly along the said Maryland-District of Colum-
bia Boundary Lines, in Montgomery County, to the place of
beginning.

There is hereby added to the District all of the area within
the corporate limits of the Town of Greenbelt as defined in
Chapter 532 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
Regular Session, 1937, which is not already included in the
area above described in this section.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose of
carrying out the provisions of this Act, said District shall be
under the jurisdiction of 'The Maryland-National Capital
Park and Planning Commission created by Chapter 448, Laws
of Maryland of 1927, and hereinafter for abbreviation referred
to in this Act as "the Commission" or "Commission. " In addi-
tion to the powers and functions granted to it in all sections
of said Chapter 448, Laws of Maryland 1927 and Amendments
thereof which are not repealed in this Act and in addition to
all powers granted to it in other laws and statutes, the Com-
mission shall have the right to exercise all powers and func-
tions granted to it in this Act and to do any and all other
corporate acts for the purpose of carrying out the provisions
of this Act. The Commission may appoint and discharge at
pleasure and fix the compensation of or may contract for the
services of such engineering, planning, administrative, audit-
ing, clerical or other force as from time to time in its judg-
ment may be necessary to the administration of this Act and
may require any employee to give bond with surety approved
by and in a sum to be fixed by the Commission.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the Commission
is hereby authorized and directed to hold meetings, conduct
hearings and perform any or all of the duties vested in it by
this Act at whichever of its offices shall in the judgment of
the Commission best suit the convenience of the public in
each case.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the Commission is
hereby authorized and empowered to make and adopt and,
from time to time, amend, extend, or add to a general plan
for the physical development of the District. Such plan, in-
cluding maps, plats, charts and descriptive matter, shall show
the Commission's recommendations for the development of
the District, which may include, amongst other things, such
matters as the location, arrangement, character and extent
of roads, waterways, waterfronts, beaches, docks and wharves,
parks, forests, squares, aviation fields, airways, subways, wild-
