CHAPTER 670.
(House Bill 433)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 49
of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Garrett County", sub-title "Circuit
Court. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 49 of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Garrett County", sub-title "Circuit
Court" be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments to read as follows:
49. There shall be two jury and two non-jury regular com-
mon law terms of the Circuit Court for Garrett County, to
be held in Oakland; the two jury terms shall commence on the
second Monday in March and the second Monday in September
respectively in each year; and the two non-jury terms shall
commence on the first Monday of June and the first Monday of
December, respectively in each year; and to said jury terms
jurors shall be summoned and returned in the mode prescribed
by law.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on the first day of July, 1939.

CHAPTER 671.
(House Bill 652)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
91 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Elections", sub-
title "Canvassing Boards'7, said amendments providing that
in all elections where votes have been cast for candidates for
any County offices by the "writing in" of names on ballots,
the Board of Canvassers shall not be required to transmit a
statement of returns of such "write in" candidates except
on certain conditions.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 91 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
