bly of Maryland, Session of 1935; said new section to be
known as Section 902A, to follow immediately after Section
902 of said Article and to enlarge the area defined in Sec-
tion 902.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That a new section be and the same hereby is added to
Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Silver
Spring", as same was repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 126
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, Session of
1935; said new section to be known as Section 902A, to follow
immediately after 902 of said Article and to read as follows:

902A. The boundaries of the fire taxing area as defined
by Section 902 of Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
as amended by Chapter 126 of the section of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, Session of 1935; the boundaries are here-
by extended to include the following area:

Beginning at a point being the intersection of the center
line of the Colesville Pike of the center line of old Bladensburg
Road; thence northeasterly along the center line of the Coles-
ville Pike to the intersection of said center line with the center
line of the Northwest Branch; thence southeasterly along the
center line of the Northwest Branch to the boundary line
of the existing Silver Spring fire taxing area as set out in
aforesaid Section 902 of this Article; thence along said line
of said fire taxing area to the center line of the old Bladens-
burg Road; thence northwesterly along said center line of old
Bladensburg Road to the point of beginning.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and having
been passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take
effect on the date of its passage.
