of Appeals", and to add three new sections to Article 26
to follow immediately after Section 35A and to be known
as Sections 35B, 35C and 35D; authorizing the Court of
Appeals to prescribe by general rules, the practice and
procedure in all civil actions, both at law and in equity
in all Courts of Record throughout the State; defining
the terms practice and procedure; conferring the power
to make rules governing practice and procedure in their
respective Courts upon other Courts of Record in the
State; enlarging and extending the jurisdiction of the
Courts of Baltimore City to cover all civil actions in
the event that the Court of Appeals shall by general
rules provide for a united practice and procedure in all
actions at law and suits in equity; authorizing the ap-
pointment of a standing committee of members of the
Bar to aid the Court of Appeals in the performance of
the duties imposed upon it and authorizing the Court
of Appeals to employ assistants, to fix their compensa-
tion, and to pay the same together with the traveling
and other expenses of such Committee, including print-
ing and other costs, from the amount appropriated for
that purpose.

CHAPTER 72.
(Senate Bill 39)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
1 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
(1924 Edition), title "Health, " sub-title "State Board of
Health, " and to repeal Sections 1A and 2 of said Article.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 1 of Article 43 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, (1924 Edition), be, and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as
to read as follows:
1. The State Board of Health shall consist of nine
members as follows: one shall be an experienced civil
engineer, one shall be an experienced certified pharmacist,
one shall be an experienced doctor of dental surgery, and
three shall be experienced physicians, all to be appointed
by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate;
the remaining members of the Board shall be the Attorney
