CHAPTER 592.
(House Bill 465)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 508 and 509 of Article 12 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Garrett County", sub-title "Swanton", the said sec-
tions requiring the County Commissioners to levy one hun-
dred and fifty dollars ($150. 00) annually for improving
streets and sidewalks in the village of Swanton.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 508 and 509 of Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Garrett
County", sub-title "Swanton", be and the same is hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
3, 7 and 134 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland (1924 Edition and 1929 Supple-
ment), title "Elections", sub-title "Supervisors of Elec-
tions", as said Sections 3 and 7 were amended by Chapter
121 of the Acts of 1937 and by Chapter 95 of the Acts of
1937, increasing the compensation of the members of the
Board of Supervisors of Elections of Wicomico County and
fixing the compensation of their clerk and their attorney.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 3, 7 and 134 of Article 33 of the Anno-
tated Code of Public General Laws of Maryland (1924 Edition
and 1929 Supplement), title "Elections", sub-title "Super-
visors of Elections", as said Sections 3 and 7 were amended by
Chapter 121 of the Acts of 1937 and by Chapter 95 of the Acts
of 1937, be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

3. Each supervisor of elections of Baltimore City shall
