to any other unemployment compensation system established
by an Act of Congress by the agency or agencies of the United
States empowered to make such determinations.
(D) Agricultural labor;
(E) Domestic service in a private home;
(F) Service performed as an officer or member of the crew
of a vessel on the navigable waters of the United States;
(G) Service performed by an individual in the employ of his
son, daughter, or spouse, and service performed by a child
under the age of twenty-one in the employ of his father or
mother;
(H) Service performed in the employ of a corporation, com-
munity chest, fund, or foundation, organized and operated ex-
clusively for religious, charitable, scientific, literary, or educa-
tional purposes, or for the prevention of cruelty to children or
animals, no part of the net earnings of which inures to the
benefit of any private shareholder or individual.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of
laws, whether Public Local or Public General, and including
those enacted by the General Assembly at the General Session
in 1939, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

(House Bill 447)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 105
of Article 89B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935
Supplement), as said section was enacted by Chapter 505
of the Acts of 1937, increasing the amount of money to
be used and extending the time within which the State
Roads Commission and the Board of Welfare shall utilize
convict labor in the reconstruction and maintenance of State
and county roads.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 105 of Article 89B of the Annotated Code
