1130 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 556

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the 'General Assembly of Mary-
land, That one new section be and it is hereby added to Article
12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Garrett County", sub-title "County Commission-
ers", said new section to be known as Section 89A, to follow
immediately after Section 89 of said Article, and to read as
follows:

89A. (1) Within ten days after any deed submitted to the
Clerk of the County Commissioners pursuant to Section 89 is
recorded among the land records of Garrett County, the Clerk
of the County Commissioners shall enter upon the assessment
books of the County a reference to the liber and folio of said
land records where such deed is recorded.

(2) Before January 1, 1940, the Clerk of the County Com-
missioners shall enter upon the assessment books of the County
a reference to the liber and folio of the land records of Gar-
rett County where the most recent deed transferring each
parcel of real or leasehold property assessed for taxation in
Garrett County is recorded.

(3) The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Garrett County shall
assist the Clerk of the County Commissioners in the perform-
ance of his duties hereunder.

(4) The County Treasurer in advertising any property for
sale in accordance with the law, shall include in such adver-
tisement the reference to the title of the property, by folio, and
liber numbers, as shown by the assessment records of said
county.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 556.

(House Bill 742)

AN ACT to add two new sections to Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Montgomery County", sub-title "Poolesville", to be under
sub-heading "Local Option", said new sections to be known
as Sections 728A and 728B and to follow immediately after
Section 728 of said Article, granting local option with respect
to the sale of alcoholic beverages to the town of Poolesville
in Montgomery County.
