ty Agricultural Society Grounds, thence North 23 degrees 15
minutes West—4, 713. 7 feet to the place of beginning. The
Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick shall have full power and
authority to asses, levy and collect within said limits, as the
same are extended by this Act, any and all taxes whatsoever
which they were authorized to assess, levy and col-
lect within the taxable limits as heretofore existing. All
roads, streets, avenues, alleys and highways, lying in any of
the territory hereinabove described, which shall have been
heretofore dedicated and accepted, or legally condemned or
acquired as roads or streets, under the provisions of any Act
of the General Assembly of Maryland, or of the common law,
shall be held to be valid constituted public highways of Fred-
erick City.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 551.

(House Bill 726)

AN ACT to ratify and confirm the action of the County Com-
missioners of Montgomery County in conveyancing to
Charles R. Hurley certain real property, situate and lying
in said county, by deed dated June 8, 1936, and recorded in
the land records of said county, and to make the same valid
and effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That the action of the County Commissioners of Mont-
gomery County in granting and conveying certain real prop-
erty, situate and lying in said county, to Charles R. Hurley,
by their deed dated June 8, 1936, and recorded on April 27,
1937, in the land records of Montgomery County in Liber
C. K. W. No. 664, Folio 455, executing the aforesaid deed, be
and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed and
that said deed be and it is hereby made valid to all intent and
purpose as though before said County Commissioners had
granted and conveyed said property as aforesaid and executed
the aforesaid deed, the said County Commissioners has had the
express authority of the General Assembly of Maryland so
to do.
