CHAPTER 481.
(House Bill 585)
AN ACT to add a section to Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "Roads", said new section to be known
as Section 754B, to follow immediately after Section 754A
of said Article, to provide for payment of expenses of Coun-
ty Commissioners in supervising roads.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Roads", said new
section to be known as Section 754B and to follow immediate-
ly after Section 754A of said title and to read as follows:
754B. For carrying out the duties prescribed in Section
754 hereof and for such other supervision and inspection of
the public highways, roads, bridges, avenues, streets, and al-
leys of Montgomery County, as is by law required of them, the
County Commissioners of Montgomery County may appoint
one or more of its members to perform such duties in the sev-
eral districts of the County, and such member or members so
appointed shall receive such reasonable expense allowance as
is decided by the Board of County Commissioners. The al-
lowance provided herein shall be in addition to all salary ex-
pense and allowances otherwise provided by law.
